Overview

The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for ensuring the Sales and Marketing department has the training and tools to perform their duties. Works with production to forecast customer product needs and service requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead Sales, Customer Service, Technical Sales, and Shipping Departments
• Set, track, and react to strategic metrics for each department to support overall strategic business plan
• Manage overall schedule of personnel to meet production and sales goals
• Define & drive closure of projects to maximize plant profitability
• Establish and improve documented procedures, instructions, and practices to standardize department methods
• Enforce standards through a vigorous program of training, education, and self-improvement
• Outline objectives and evaluate subordinate performance in a timely manner
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or relevant field required;
• Ten or more years of sales and marketing experience required;
• Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in a sales and marketing leadership position;
• Strong understanding of the extrusion and casting industries;
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting;
• Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment;
• Effective problem solving, supervisory and organizational skills;
• Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to multi-task in time-sensitive environment;
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
